Having been a huge DerbyWorx tool fan over the past few years, when I learned that a proto-type was being developed to simplify the "RR" method I was very eager to get my hands on one. RacerX was gracious and kind enough to allow me to trial this device before it came to market. In my opinion, the RR tool is the biggest innovation in the PWD world since the raised fourth wheel. I find it extremely simple to use- very kid friendly as well. The tool gives the option of a 1.5 or 2.5 degree cant. The benefit of the tool is that you are able to create a very consistent bend in each axle every time. It fits perfectly on the existing Derbyworx axle press and does it exactly right every time. The only area of question that I would raise is that in some BSA districts, the rules state that the wheel tread must ride flat on the track. In my initial experience with the tool, a 2.5 negative camber is obvious. However, a 1.5 degree is not apparent upon exam. Moreover, I seriously doubt that the majority of BSA builders could either drill a hole or put an axle in a slot perfectly as to not create camber anyway (regardless of whether the axle is bent). So, in my opinion, I see it as a non-issue. The tool is the real deal. Thanks RacerX for all that you have done. I am sure that I will speak for many others when I say this: Thank you for continuing to raise the bar with your inventions. Sappington

The tool is great. The thing that I like most about it is that you still have adjustability with your rear alignment. If you drill your axle holes at an angle, then you limit adjustment. When you drill your axle holes straight, then use a bent axle, then you can adjust easily by rotating the axle. Here is a picture of the tool.

I got my new DerbyWorx RR Tool in the mail this week and I have to say, it is one slick little tool. It is very easy to use and the bend seems to be very consistent from axle to axle. For the guys who like to use bent axles, this is a very good tool to own !!

Hey everybody, check this out!
This is our first try at a video about our new tool and how to set-up a rail rider aligned car. We hope everyone, especially the newbies find it helpful.
Any feed back would be appreciated for future up-dates.
Thanks

It just came in today!! Thank you Randy for the fast service! I will start to play around with it once the Snow stops and the weather warms up enough to go back into my garage. Who would have thought snow in Houston in November? Just more of that global warming.
