How can you tell the difference between wheel mold #6 and #9 ?

Use the tread of the wheel as a guide. Basically the tread of the wheel is the bottom. If the "circle " part is towards the hub, it's a 9 if it's towards the tread, it's a 6. Hope this makes sense !

Said another way:
Rotate the wheel until the mold number is located directly underneath the hub, then read it.

Which is better? Just curious. According to max v testing, mold #s' 2, 4, 7 & 8 are the way to go. Nothing really great about molds 9 or 6.
