In case anyone buys the thin film sanding kits from either michtoy or micro-mark, here are what the grits are - they are not labeled:
Dark Grey/Black, 23 micron (~800 grit), silicon carbide
Tan (lighter), 23 micron (~800 grit), aluminum oxide
Medium Grey, 8 micron (~2,300 grit), silicon carbide
Tan (Darker), 1.5 micron (~13,000 grit), cerium oxide
Dark Green, 0.5 micron (~100,000 grit), chromium oxide
This info I lifted from another forum after buying these sheets and not knowing which were which.

I cannot find 2000 CAMI or 12000 grit sandpaper anywhere. I find the Micro-Mesh but not sandpaper that fine (.5 to 1 micron). Does anyone know where to get that stuff?
...or would it me OK to go from the 12000 grit Micro-Mesh strait to Mother's Mag Wheel Polish?
Thanks!!!

I picked up a full run of wet dry at my auto parts store in the paint section. I go from 220-2000 then finish with Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish using a cut of an old T-shirt. The cotton works great then I use a clean strip to finish it off. all With the axle in a dremel tool. Polishes them to a mirror. My 6 year old can even doe it, it is so easy.
