I was just about to order some wheels from Max-V and noticed they now have a "true track read". I remember Bill telling me about them before they came out, but has anyone used a set of these yet? We are organizing our "open to scouts and family race" fundraiser and was going to get a bunch of these to make available to the dads. Any info would be appreciated.

Enrico The true track tread is slightly crowned to keep the original look of the BSA wheel. Instead of having a "blocky" machined wheel, it keeps the rolled over edge just like a stock BSA wheel. You can find them at DerbyDoc.com. Any of the WarpSpeed wheels now have the true track tread. From the Pro Stock wheels, all the way up to the Ultralites.

Interesting. Are they legal in races that require "flat" tread?

Steve, I was kinda wondering if they would be considered like an h-tread also.

Interesting. Are they legal in races that require "flat" tread? Of couse, theirs no big difference at all. It just shows how good Derbyworx, and Warpspeed have become at machining BSA wheels. Trust me, they are awesome. Its just a simple rolled over edge on the inside, so they actually look more "stock" than any wheels on the market. Let me know if anyone needs any, because Im fully stocked at all times. Plus 10% off for league racers......what could be better?!?

How would these compare with the winderby wheels (http://www.winderby.com/m02_040829.html) and has anyone tested them against each other?
