My son and I are second guessing ourselves. We have a wing with 1" COM the back wheels are flat and aligned. I have one wheel raised in the front and the other wheel (dominant) is canted. We bent the axle slightly so that the car steers 2" in 4". My concern is that only the inner end of the dominat wheel touches. Will this cause the car to be unstable and wiggle? We are worried that not enough tread on the dominant front wheel is touching the track. Thanks again to all of you for your help and support.

You should be fine with that setup, to be honest. If you are using a canted front axle, then the wheel will not sit completely flat against the track. That is actually a good thing.

roosclan thanks. I was just concerned because only a small part of the wheel was touching. I was thinking that there wasn't enough traction at the front to keep the car stable.

Yes, I think your on the right track about the less traction of your FDW. What I have gleaned from the forum is the more agressive you are with the COM the more you should steer into the rail. This is an attempt to counter act the effects of the extreme COM. I am late seeing this post, how did your car do ?
