We are planning on using the pos camber on the FDW this year, but I am rethinking that idea due to our rules.
We are not allowed to cone the hubs, and I am curious if using pos camber on the FDW will cause too much friction against the car body. I am not expecting the wheel to stay off the body going down the track, but I could be wrong on that.
What experience do y'all have with un-coned hubs and pos camber?

as long as your steering the FDW wheel towards the rail( rail riding )the force against the rail will push the wheel towards the axle head, away from the body...this probably wont happen at slow speeds, but at high speed this is happening. hope this helps

Seems like you would need some carbon paper or something to know for sure. If the FDW is touching the body and rail, the aggressive COM would negate the friction caused by it all. That would be why you need more steer as the COM goes back. The angles of the FDW is what causes the car to drift into the rail. If the rest of the car forced the FDW into the rail, I would expect the FDW to move away from the body. I think I need to lay down, my head is aching ...
