Hey all, I thought I saw a while back that one of the vendors was advertising 3/8" cylinders that were actually 3/8" cylinders and that you could drill the hole with a 3/8" bit? Instead of an oversized bit. Does anyone remember or know where I can find these? Thanks. Sapp.

Seems like the cylinders I get from MaxV are exact at 3/8. In fact, they fit loosely in the holes I drill with my 3/8 bit.

Drill bits do vary a little depending on the manfacturer. Some of them are slightly oversized, so the cylinders fit. Others are slightly undersized, so the cylinders don't fit. We recommend using a 25/64 bit, which is 1/64 larger than 3/8. With this bit, there are no worries about the cylinders fitting.

You can also find 3/8 tungsten cylinders at incremental weights at a PineCar display in Hobby Lobby or HobbyUSA. I find the incremental weights to be very handy.
