Hi Guys, I have trued my wheels on my lathe and was wanting to know the best way to polish the tread to get that perfect smooth and shiny tread back.

Take sandpaper, starting at 400 grit and work your way up. Use water when you do this process.
Put something underneath the lathe chuck so you don't get water on the lathe ways. Make sure what ever you put there does not get caught in the chuck! Otherwise, make sure you put lots of oil on the ways before using water to sand the wheel thread surface.
The process is pretty simple and yields a nice finish. I have not used polish or wax on PWD Cars. You could probably use some plastic polish at the end and you might get a smoother finish!
Thanks! Murph
