Just received rules for an Adult race at a car show in Sept. I built a couple nice Scout cars but this is way out there .
Rules standard height and width rules apply 10 In max Length 15 Oz. Max ( Yep ) Must be built on the premise of the BSA block any additional Materials ( what ever that means
Yep that's the rules period. HEEEELP lol is this too long and too heavy any ideas where to start
I could build a six wheel car 100 Dollars in Tungsten

Well I always felt. 7 to 9 oz was plenty. More then that. And you seem to loose speed due to friction. Weight on the axles. I did in the past a exstended wheel base car with .91 axles. Rail rider. With 1/4 thick body and routed and set the weight as I usually did and just double stacked on top of it. I did back then have a test track and was able to test run with the weight and that's how I found. Using max weight I could slowed me. So I ran two cars in that race. And won 1st and 2nd. One eith 9 oz and the other with 7.5 oz. Tungsten cubes I used.
