I mentioned this in another thread, but I’m building a car for both show and racing in a Cub Scout PWD ‘Other’ class (parents or siblings). With the theme of the Swamp Rat 18 that I'm building this car, it's part illusion for the show competition. I came across a few wheels that I think are older style, but I'm not sure just what they are and I'm hoping someone can help me ID them and possibly have a match. These wheels are BSA, but the outside of the hub is inset ~1/8". The mold #'s are on the inside wall portion of what would be the tire and very small. I know it goes against the principle of using 4 mold matched wheels, but I would like to use a pair of these wheels in the back because they give a better illusion of racing slicks, especially if I can successfully narrow (if only a little bit) a pair of current wheels (non-inset) for the front of my rail. I have 3 individuals of these inset wheels - #6, #11, & #12. Does anyone know if these inset wheels are older style or what are they? Is there anyone out there that may have a mate to one of these or a matched pair (or 4 if need be) of this style wheels that I could get?
