I need to find a small brass or aluminum or whatever tube. I want to glue the tube into the car and then use a set screw through the tube to hold the axle in place.
Where can I find small threaded metal tubes like this?
THanks!

pwdismylife, Try www.smallparts.com/Sounds like you are making axle mounting quite complicated. Hope this helps!

Your local hardware store (Ace Hardware where I live) will have different diameter brass tubes in stock. I bought one with and .093 inner diameter a while back.

a bit of a late reply but for anyone interested in the topic, we have tested with no problems just drillinga #44 hole in the block and then using a 4-40 (i think) set screw.
The problem is that you need to have enough wood to have this in place. A great way to hold an axle in place but I do think a bit of epoxy or approriate glue is better based on what we have tried.
