I have a BSA car and have to use the slots. I used a drill press to put the axles in at the top of the slots. Was this the wrong place? Should the axles be closer to the bottom for speed?

The top of the slot is best, it will help get the weight down lower in the car, even if it is a small amount, it all helps.
We have designed the Pro Body Tool to place the holes at the top of the slots for those who are required to use them.
