It worth a shot. I just happen to notice last night that I had some Maguires fine scratch removal creme and was wondering if that would be as good as the Micro gloss stuff. Barry

I tried the outer hub polish tonight on a scrap wheel. I chucked in a cotton swab in my drill press and used some of Doc Jobes bore polish. I may have applied too much pressure because I rounded over a portion of the bore (a mortal sin!). I also held the wheel in one position too long. My next attempt will be to LIGHTLY hold the bore against the swab and move it around in a circle against inside of that rim, hoping that some of the polishing action moves over the bore, but not too much. Can't wait for the New Years Eve race! We tried canting the axles for the first time ever thanks to Warpspeed and SLKRNSNT, so we'll see how it turns out. I think this WIRL racing is good for my son. We always finish last, but we're running with BSA legal cars for our Council rules. He has made the switch from always wanting to win to just looking for faster times with every adjustment we make. Good Luck all! Bob and Robert, the Models Boys

ninjarabbi1997, check your rules. I don't think the McComb District allows any processing of the wheels other than removing the mold mark.

Thanks for the heads up SpinDoctor. Last year I checked with the district and they said that polishing a wheels was not considered a modification; but, we are in a new district this year, so thanks.
