This is my first post to the message board and I would like to say Hello to everyone.
I am looking at purchasing a set of digital scales. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive, accurate set? I have not raced the WIRL races, however an entry in the near future is possible. I would like to have a set of scales that would weigh similar to WIRL scales. Also can anyone recommend an accurate 5oz. calibration weight.

Welcome! Maximum-Velocity sells a good scale (.1g resolution) cheap and you can purchase a calibration weight directly from the folks at WIRL.
Good luck and happy racing!!

Thanks Jay! I was actually leaning towards the scale that Maximum Velocity sells. Any idea on what WIRL uses?

Not sure what scale WIRL uses, but we purchased one of their 142g weights and that has been our standard. I think just about any scale that reads to .1g should be more than adequate.
