Being so new, we're still experimenting. April race may find us with 3 cars entered and 3 different lubes. Right now were playing with Hodges GM, Pinewood Extreme, and plain ol' graphite. We also have a graphite/moly that starts out in a liquid but ends dry after application we haven't had time to play with yet. Depending on how these go we might try Hob-E-Lube also.

Used to use Hob-E-Lube exclusively but last year tried Hodges on son's scout car. First year we ever won council. At Wirl we have tried Hob-E-Lube, Hodge's, and now Extreme's. Not much luck with any of them. Wait.............not much luck with oils either, must be me.

HAVE USED HOB-E-LUBE FOR YEARS WITH GREAT SUCCESS. AT WIRL - USED IT IN FEBRUARY......MARCH - NYOIL II - WORKED LIKE MOLASSES......I'VE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH BULLET LUBE (HAVEN'T RACED ANYWHERE YET WITH IT - SO THE JURY IS STILL OUT). I HAVE SOME CRAZY PLANS FOR APRIL.

......MARCH - NYOIL II - WORKED LIKE MOLASSES...... If you can see it, you have left too much on. I wipe so much off, I can't believe it still works. ;D But this is whole different thread...

I haven't had the same success with graphite, yet, but I'll keep trying. Fred gave me some ideas.

Has anyone ever tried Carbon 60 aka"Bucky Balls". It's a different molecular structure of graphite.Regular graphite molecule is square the same as a diamond structure and work on the principal of sliding/sheering off one another(molecules). The C60 molecule is like a soccer ball,a round design made up of 5 and 6 side bonds just like a soccer ball. NOW the shocker........... it's $50.00 for 1-gram or $1,400.00 an oz. This stuff is medical/lab/experimental Grade What do Y'all Think? ? MM

"what's the difference between a pidgeon and a Texas oil man?" The pidgeon can still make a deposit on his Mercedes...

I only ask... watched to many Miami Vice shows... powder sold in grams for $50 would raise eyebrows on that show...
