Hi Guys,
This is my first derby since I did it 30 yrs. ago. In our rules it states that we have to use the axle slots provided in the kit, and it also states that we have to maintain 3/8" clearance. With the wheels installed there is a little over 1/2" . Is it an advantage to trim out the underside of the car 1/8"? and with what material?
Thanks Paul

I did not explain myself very well.
Is there a advantage to having minimal clearance between bottom of car and center strip on track?

Thanks Paul I would have my weight so it measured just a hair above the 3/8 clearance.

Thanks Paul You can also cut the existing axle slots a little deeper so the car sits slightly above the 3/8 clearance. Lucky 13
