Patrick Emerson with Emerson Fast Cars will be there, and bringing nobody with me... I'll probably be the only representative from the great state of Texas.
and I'll be bringing "Lickety Split" with me in tow.

well, I broke my new stocker last night.. So I'm back to the drawing board.... Good thing about the tungsten cubes vs. poured lead.... can re-use them very easily.
I'm shooting for you Buckeye.... I'm going for 7th place this time.... can you feel me? Daddy always told me to come high, or stay at home....
you know I'm kidding.. right? (kicking my feet in the dirt)

well, I broke my new stocker last night.. So I'm back to the drawing board.... That's a bummer Emerson! Better start cutting... Anyone wanting to get a room close to the fairgrounds on the weekend of the Lima Land Open, better hurry and make reservations. I just reserved 4 rooms and they are going quick. I guess last year there were over 2400 entries in the car show at eh fairgrounds

Alright, we are 9 days away from the Lima race. Let's get a count on how many WIRL racers are going to be in attendance.... and how many cars you're planning to race...
Patrick Emerson: Emerson Fast Cars will be there representing the great state of Texas..
Bringing two Mods and one Stock......... But will I bring "Lickety Split" or send it to Georgia? Wait and see.....

If I can get them done and find a place to test I will have at least 1 Mod and 1 stock. Also may bring my son's Mod from Parish's race and race it for him so he can at least get some builder points. He can't make it with football practice and all. I am trying something new with a stocker. It will be really fast or be a dog, no in between. Don't expect anymore than average with my Mod either. I was not going to build a stocker but I heard through the grapevine that there is a guy coming with a new stocker that should win hands down. I have learned that in Pinewood there is no such thing as a sure winner (Panzer excluded). So I consider it a personal challenge to see if I can build one that will at least compete with him. Good Luck to all who can make it next week!

Parrish racing will be bringing 2 entries. One for me and one for my daughter (both modified). I may have to sneak a stock car in there now.
Testing last night sure was a disapointment! We will see if I can do anything for next Saturday.

And who would this be? Is it a WIRL regular? I will not reveal any names because I do not know that he said it. What I heard was that someone else(2nd person) said it to another person(3rd person) about his(1st persons) car. It should be a fun time no matter how it turns out. What I do know is that I just finished a set of stock wheels that should be the best, and most radical I have ever done. They are nearly perfectly round, 1.182 diameter, and only weigh 2.2 grams apiece. Good Luck to all.
