Ok Boys and Girls, you asked for it, you got it, step right up and sign up now!!!! June 23rd. & 24th. the 1st. annual Derby Worx OPEN. This event will be held in beautiful downtown Millstadt, Il, population 2750 just 20 min east of down town St. Louis MO. at my facility. We should have 2 plus tracks, I have a few people that are willing to help that are local, so that is a plus. We have 2 possiable surprise guest/sponsors that might show up as well. Schedule: Arive Friday evening : Meet and greet followed by a diner sponsored by Derby Worx and guest sponsors. If anyone is interested, we can make a trip over to the other shop on Fri. where the cnc and mill are and we can make you a factory fresh set of "RS" wheels for the race, but don't think you will get to watch the machine cycle with the door open, that is TOP SECRET! Saturday morning: To the Derby Worx Lab for test runs, tuning on an open track (like real racing) we will be handing out some prototype wheels that everyone can try and use to race with. We will have an open work area for tuning and bench racing. (You are all gonna loose on the bench). We will have lunch brought in and afterwards, WE RACE!!!!! OPEN, STOCK and the Derby Worx Challenge ( we will hand you a pre-weighted identical car, bring your favorite wheels from your pocket, assemble it, tune it and race ) Should be a great time for all, but I need a show of hands!!!!!! ;D and we might even have a few surprises, might not, but it will be a blast!!!!! Well, St. Louis IS closer then Marietta, however, I cannot make BOTH. If I had Parrish's money, I could probably afford it...

I guess dumb on me, I didn't even think of the Georgia race being the week after. I just looked my work and family stuff over and the dates looked good.
If anyone has any sugestions, shout them out, or we will just stay with the plan. Be like big racers and hit the road!!!
Our 11 year old thinks we can race Saturday night near home and Sunday in Texas, so St. Louis one weekend and Georgia the next isn't bad.

I have a feeling the St. Louis race will have a pretty good attendance of WIRL racers.....
I just hope it doesn't deter folks from Atlanta...
