I won't be doing much that Sunday afternoon so I figured I'd set up and have some races. This will be the first real race for our church! I haven't bought trophies yet so I don't know what sort of entry fees there will be. Please RSVP if interested. I have just got confirmation on three races and a tentative on a couple of other races. Confirmed: 1/21/2007 2/11/2007 4/15/2007 Tentative: 2/17/2007 3/18/2007 Live and Proxy racing. Warthog will be helping out with the Proxy cars. These will be at Prince of Peace church in Burnsville, MN. www.PwdRacing.com

This should be a great time guys! We are planning on having two tracks to run on: [glow=yellow,2,300] Mr. Slick's New 64' Monster Aluminum Track
and a New 42' Best Track[/glow] Mr. Slick is working on getting a Live video feed to the net with 4 camera angles - should be fun to watch!

not at all. . . OGEO (O-Great-Exalted-One) It is such an unfamiliar feeling to be asked to do something for the sport by someone else. . . I've been alone in the pines for too many years. ;D BTW, I don't have the additional info posted yet but I am making decisions about it.

Gents,
Just a few. If proxy will it interfere with the WIRL Race in January? Can I use my December WIRL car for the race. I only have one case for all the cars.

If proxy will it interfere with the WIRL Race in January? I don't know when the WIRL races will be. Their schedule for 2007 has not been posted. This race will be Proxy and Live. Can I use my December WIRL car for the race. Yes. We are still finalizing all the details and will post more information soon. Thanks.

Just another note of information - we are looking at having 5 Divisions for this race:
Rookie Stock Pure Stock Pro Stock Modified Hot Rod 66
Specific Rules will be posted on the PWD Racing Site Soon. Pure Stock, Pro Stock, and Modified will be similar to WIRL rules. Rookie Stock will be more like Pure Stock Rules except no wheel-base restriction, and there will likely be other wheel brands allowed other than BSA (stay tuned for more info.) Hot Rod 66 will follow the rules posted on this forum.
There will also be a design/show catergory

Sure thing, here they are: The cars are only 6" long and have 6 oz of weight. shorter but heavier. Back wheels must be full width, but the front can be any legal mod wheel (such as a RS Derby Worx wheel). Wheel base is anything you can fit inside the 6inches, so basically it becomes pretty close to stock. the idea would also to have about at least 1"x1" area that is as high as the stock block (1.75") (the idea is give some style and not a wedge).

Warthog is most definitely affiliated in some fashion. . . I don't have the advanced building skills that he has or a lot of other skills that he has for that matter! ;D He is also providing a lot of encouragement and guidance. We are going to get monthly racing going here in the Twin Cities.
