This is a request to modify my PBT for my personal use.
Hello RacerX,
I know the PBT is a patented device so I thought it would be proper to ask your permission first.I want to modify my PBT for my personal use, would you have a problem with this?

Maxx You do not need permission to modify a patented product for personal use. If that was the case, we would all be in trouble.

Racer X,
Is there a PBT set-up to drill canted holes available? Would like to get one if available.
Thanks, Da Pine

Racer X, Is there a PBT set-up to drill canted holes available? Would like to get one if available. Thanks, Da Pine with drill bushings installed - pretty please.... I would love to have an PBT with one end set to drill canted at 2.8 degrees and the other end to drill straight - with drill bushings installed...

So do i have any R&D volunteers? Absolutely. If I had Pro-Body jig with one end for straight holes, and one end for canted (2.8), sleeved for drilling bushings - I would use this for our pack as well as Pro Racing. I would like to retain provision to allow on of the front wheels to be lifted.

So do i have any R&D volunteers? The 2.8 degree cant sounds great. I'm not planning to use the "2.8 degree PBT" on a pine car body, I'm going to drill a bunch of 1/4" dowels, 1 3/4" long with the desired cant, Then install them in the car, Set the front wheel (height & cant), Then tune the rear axles by rotating the dowel in the body until desired position is reached. It will not matter in the least bit how accurate to dowels are drilled. (I can never drill my axle holes the exact same way every time) BUT, Perfect rear alignment can still be possible by rotating the dowel (without bending axles) Heck, the dowels can even be swapped out with differing cant degrees. All that is needed is a hand drill I'm sure others have already been doing this, I ain't smart enough to be the first.

I would use the PBT if it was set up to drill canted holes so hurry and get it made racer x and we will buy them. The only thing that I would like to add is to be able to use a #44 or #43 when needed which should be possible by changing the bushing size.
