Wirl posted a nice video of the races. I could see where my cars needed some tweaking. Does PWD do the same? I looked on the PWD site and only found a low res video. It was too grainy and shaky to tell much about the cars.

Hey khouse:
It is a bit more of a challenge to pinpoint tracking problems with the low res picture, but the video you saw is the only video that PWDR posts of the league races.

Proquest, If I can't see what's wrong with my cars I won't know how to adjust them. I may decide not to send them to PWD. Who else besides WIRL posts a high res video of the race results? I wish I had a test track! Maybe Christmas?

I think Warren does a great job with the videos. I've been racing at PWDR since it's start and I have had no problems watching the videos and making adjustments to my cars after seeing what they are doing on the track.

Hey KHouse, I agree with Lucky, the video Warren does at PWDR is excellent. Since he uses Windows Media Player, you can actually play the vid in slow motion and with your mouse you can reverse and forward. Much better! I find it much more useful for seeing what the cars do. Here is a link to one of the latest vids. Take a look at it and decide for yourself. pwdracing.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=videos&action=display&thread=661When you click on the video link, the windows media player will load. After it loads, right click on the play button and it will give you the option to play in slow motion. You can also left click on the little progess meter and hold the left down and scroll you video back and forth as fast or slow as you like. Very useful tool for tuning. Hope this helps Scott Beakerboys

I wish I had a test track! Maybe Christmas? Kenny, The thing you have to remember is that WIRL and PWD are both continually improving the way they run their races so that they will be more enjoyable for the racers. Both leagues are far superior to what they were last year. Last month the WIRL videos were better than PWD, but the PWD videos are improving too. I was able to find enough faults with my cars to make several changes. I think we're lucky to have more than one league that's putting the time in so we can enjoy racing our cars. Let's face it, they're not getting rich putting on the races. I would guess that all the extra money they make goes into equipment to make the races better for us. Phil

Beakerboys, Thanks for the video link. These vids were not the one I ran on the PWD site. The one I saw must have been someone else's posted vid or something? The PWD video's to me are excellent! I was wrong. My apologies go out to the crew at PWD for making the previous posts. I'm sending my big axle mods to PWD today!

Wow! I just checked the DerbyWorx board. . . . I have to laugh because of the car return problems - off by 22 miles AND grainy videos. Khouse - how do you put up with me!
All of the racing leagues are working to imporve all of the aspects. and I believe that all of us are interested in what areas to work on improving next so keep the feedback coming.
I promise to check the boards more often in the future too. I have been too busy this summer to do much other then the things that had to be done. . . . I didn't even get my HR66 finished before the BGN or wheels/tuning done or get the track tuned!!!! (Thanks again to the crew that was lead up by the Jewkes for gettting the track ALL tuned and prepped!)
Keep an eye open for the newer videos. . . .
