Guys/Gals,
After looking and checking my large drill press, I have determined it does not hold the tolerance close enough for drilling axle holes. If you had to buy or replace your drill press for drilling axle holes, what would be your first two or three choices and why?

That looks like a nice press with some good adjust ability. I have a cheap Ryobi that is kind of difficult to adjust - but not impossible. You just have to be patient. Good squares are a must, and a cheap place to get them is anyplace that sells drafting supplies. Accurate, cheap, lots of sizes, and you won't feel bad modifying them for derby car applications or specific tools. If you are only looking to drill axle holes, why not the body jig ?
