Can anyone tell me why I get these imperfections in my clear from time to time? Overall the clear will flow smooth, but if you look close, you can see little spots towards the back of the pink car. Seems like the gun will just spit it out from time to time. I mix the clear and catalyst exactly by the book, and I use a touch of reducer also.

I don't think that is fish eye. Fish eye looks like a smooth crater and would be all over the car.Frankly just looks like trash in the clear. You can use what the call a nib file to get that out and then go back over it with a small buffer and compound.Take a look at this link. www.steckmfg.com/Painterstools.htm
