We have been watching these boards for a while now and decided to join. Thank you all for the great info here. We have been learning from you all. I am going to try to add pics, hope it works. These are my families cars for Cub Scout derby. s722.photobucket.com/albums/ww229/kensesco/Did not quite work, at least the link above works to view the photobucket page anyway.

When you upload from photobucket, if you put the cursor over the pic, a little box drops down, if you copy the one marked IMG, and paste it in, the pics come up. I did it for you as a welcome gift LOL, those cars are cool, I especially love the Tumbler and that Han Solo in carbonite, thats freaking awesome!

First off, thank you Fatdaddy for posting my pics. I will have to try to take better pictures though. Also thanks Derbydominator. the Han solo is mainly a 3/8" thick slab hollowed out and covered on top with one of my sons StarWars toys. It's funny, he said I was going to have to get my own toys for this. It was only 1.6 ozs with wheels and axles when I got it hollowed out. The Batmobile started as a slab also and built up from there with balsa and basswood......Never Again!!!!!!

My son came in 7th today at district. It's maddening. The difference between 1st and 7th was 7/10s of a second over 4 runs. His best time was 3.1542. Not bad. There were maybe 3 cars in the sub 3's. I am on a mission now. Sub 3 or bust!!!!!!
