We are very proud to announce that Derby Worx is the sponsor of the Pinewood Derby exhibit at the National B.S.A. Museum in Irving, Texas. This is a wonderful place that documents the history of scouting from the beginning and features a 6 lane PWD track that the kids can run their cars down or use provided cars. I am also told that some packs even hold there races there (that would be cool!). I would like to give a special thanks to: Lucky 13 (Bob Hardwick) Derby Doc (Tory Johnson) and Lester Racing (Andy Lester) for helping building the 16 donation cars for displays and the museum visitors to use. Andy Lester's cars are really a WOWER with B.S.A. and Cub Scout logo's custom laser-ed into them!!! So if you are in the Irving Texas area, I believe it would be a worth while visit. We suggested that they put the nicer looking cars on display first, we recomended the laser cut cars and the yellow one and blue w/silver flames that Derby Doc did (really nice in person), but to rotate them and we would do more later as needed.
Can u imagine how cool that would be to be a kid and get to run on of these cars? WOW!! I know I would go crazy and have to build one like my favorite for my race!
Again, many thanks for the help and contributions guys!
