Looking Good DragonFly! I like the fact that it acts like a funny car and looks like something off of a SpeedRacer Cartoon.

Dragonfly,
I like it. From the side it kinda looks like an AC Cobra (one of the neatest cars of all time). That's hard for a diehard Chevy man to admit.
Good luck this weekend with X-Ray.

Love your style. Paint looks great and its easy to see the progression in your building abilities in just a few months. Great job! Love the photos, what river is in the background?

Thanks all for your kind words. I had a lot of fun building this car (not without some frustration too - there seems to always have some unforeseen problems to solve). Good luck to everyone tomorrow!! and Happy Father's Day on Sunday! Love your style. Paint looks great and its easy to see the progression in your building abilities in just a few months. Great job! Love the photos, what river is in the background? The river is the Potomac River. That building in the background is the Kennedy Center. I went to work early and went up to the top floor of the building and took the pictures to try and stage the cars with a cool backdrop. Awesome! looks like the "show" part of PWD is growing also! Is it fast? I sure hope so. It weighs five ounces on my scale. But so far, it has only logged about twenty feet total on it's odometer (a few pushes across the table).
