Wondering if anyone would assemble a pwd car after it is preped by my sons ie: sanded and painted. Then need someone to asseble the car and make it fast and possibly make them rail riders. Willing to pay whoever takes on the task.
My son has came in second overall every year and this is his last year, would like to get that first place for him.

Isn't your son supposed to be doing this? Seems that the spirit of the competition for the kids is to learn the ins and outs of derby racing. You both, I think, should take on this task by yourselves and figure it out by trail and error together. He would then feel a bit more ownership in any accomplishment he EARNS! Is what you propose normal with your group of boys? What will your son learn by having someone else so what is supposed to do? Your response?

The #1 reason we started Derby Worx and created the tools is so parent and child teams can work together, learn and achieve a higher level of performance with minimal tools and experience.
Last season a friend on mine picked up some stuff, built a car with his son and won pack and 2nd at district all at home.

That is a tough one. Even if you won, what kind of victory would it be? And more importantly, what are you teaching your son? To me, and I say this personally not judgmentally, it would be more important to me to be ethical than to simply win a race by any and all means.
Good Luck making your decision
