Tommorow night is the big race. Joe and Molly's car are neck and neck. I helped a buddy of mine's son by Soopin' up his car. I shaved .125 seconds off his time. He should finish second. I hoping the other guy I helped hits third. The top 4 get to go to District & Council. Molly will probably win the Siblings Division. My kids are stoked...and so am I. I'll keep you posted.

Smokin',
Tell Molly and Joe that we're pulling for them.
Be sure and let us know how they finish.
I'm sure the kids you helped will do well also. I know they will remember it forever.
Good luck Joe and Molly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The kids I helped went for 3rd and 4th and a camping buddy of mine's kid placed 2nd. They also took 2nd ind their respective Dens behind the top two. Looks like we all go to District and Council together. For each one of us that places at District, we take an additional one to Council. Joe's Den "The Wolves" won the team award and the largest trophy.

Congradulations to your kids and to all the little racers of the day. great job with the photos too. Its is always nice to see the happiness in the kids faces that they have achieved something. A good boost of confidence is what we all need sometimes.

Joe and I tested a car tonight that we just cut out. The car is bare wood and the weights are taped in. None of the fine tuning has been done. It beat his Pack car by anywhere from .015 to 0.35 seconds. Look out Districts. Joe is woodfilling it as I type. We'll do some final testing early next week for the March 11th race. Joe's idea was to build a car like our "Gone" car from 2005 only a little wider in the middle. He is stoked that his idea worked.
