Here are our July WIRL entries - Leopard 1, and Panther. Just got tired of watching you guys have all the fun . Figured it was time to join in and see how our PW car building skills stack up against the best . This is our first go at WIRL???. Not expecting to run with the big dawgs first time out. Hopeful to gain some useful expirience at this level of competion ;D. Many thanks to WIRL for providing this opertunity. Panzer

Those wheels are awesome! Nice work on them! Cars look especially neet! I love to see a car that is more than a slat with wheels, LOL, even though my cars are slats with wheels!

Gee, what a surprise Panther turned out to be! We all thought Leopard would be a little quicker. It amazes to see how some cars and setups finally performs on a given track. DM and Peede were right on our heels though. The quickest times appear to be very close together however, it looks like it was the slowest runs are what decided the competition. Many thanks to WIRL for running these races and to everyone who participated in what turned out to be a great and close competition. Also thanks to everyone on Performance Boards all the great tips and ideas. No doubt our work will be cut out for us to defend in August. I'm sure DM and Peede are going to be competitive as ever and Pinewood Performance, Parrish, Threader, Half Moon, the Barga Kids and the rest of you will be right with them. Panzer Performance

congratulations panzer. I would agree with you on the unexpected. I also sent in two cars for first attempt at wirl and thinking tail wagger would be the faster car. I just picked up my son's 3-yr old lead based wedge...old reliable, removed bsa wheels, installed lathed wheels, repacked lube and mailed. To my surprize, tail wagger was slower. It's back to the drawing board, and hope for better results next month. ed
