Do you think a car like this has any chance at all of breaking into the 18s. The weight is probably going to be too spread around. I think the side pods are going to create a pendulum effect, causing it to bounce from rail to rail. Any other opinions.

Do you think a car like this has any chance at all of breaking into the 18s. That's a pretty aggressive but attainable goal! Warp Speed is the only one who has done it so far in January with an 18.874 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Aggressive rear weight will be mandatory! That is an awesome looking car. Be sure to post a pic when it's finished. Hope to see you at WIRL in April with that sub 19 car.

Version two will use balsa side pods and have a hollowed out body. I came up with a ton of ideas while building this one.
