That barrage of hilarity just made my day. Thanks for the follies... It made my day also. That's what I like about this site. I want to thank you for the prayers for Jason. He went thru his tests, and they are going to operate on him tomorrow morning. They are going to remove his colon and make a pouch from his small intestine and hook it back up to his anus. Then they are going to give him a temporary illiostomy while everything else heals. After about three months they will be able to reverse the illiostomy. Please continue to pray for him and the doctors. God bless you all. Phil Jason and your entire family will stay in our prayers

Well, Plum Crazy did not make the cut.
Orange Crush, Green With Envy, and Terminal Velocity were sent out yesterday.

Yeah Pat but you gotta remember. Until Lima my son's scout car was the fastest stock car we had ever made and when I sent it to WIRL a couple months back to see how it would compete it got stomped, bad! Kinda like my mods. Although Krome It was faster at Lima it is now retired. I put those wheels on Krome It II (next years car) and it was even faster yet. But then I pulled those wheels and put them in my tool box. Then pulled them out and tested on Shelby's car. It was not as fast as Krome It and if I remember right BoG was not very far behind at Lima. I wonder if I ship the Big Red with my car if I coud get WIRL to pour it all over you car in celebration, before the race!

quit it. you're gonna make me cry... I'd prefer the Red Soda get poured on my car AFTER the race in celebration....
Nope, no telling.. I do know you have more experience, so I'm just hoping to be close... I did go back to the old BSA wheels I got a while back and retired the Awana wheels...

Just sent 3 modified cars in for Oct.
It was a rush to get them there. I used everything but bailing wire and duct tape to get them ready. They look like they've been in "The big one" at Daytona.
I didn't get to spend much time on them, because Jason and I just got home Monday evening around 8:00pm.
The good news is! Jason's operation went well, and everything should be good after his next operation in about 3 months. Thanks for all the prayers.

Smokin'
Thanks, appreciate your concern.
Can't finish much worse than last month. I had some of the changes made before I left, and I came home for 2 days last week. I got a little done then. I feel good about a couple of the changes, but I needed more time to get things right.
Good luck Saturday. If the side bets keep growing they will be about like the Power Ball by Saturday.

Phil, Great news... I'm telling you that working on these cars is great therapy... except when they fall off of the bench.....

Pat
Thanks for the support and prayers. They keep us going.
I do think this is great therapy. Occasionally everybody needs to take a few moments to get away from it all. When I mess around with my cars or talk about them with someone else, it's like I get refreshed and ready to go again.
Win, lose, or draw, I am thankful for these races and for this website.
Good luck everybody!!!!!!!!!
Phil
