A couple of pictures of Jesse's car for District's He won for the 3rd straight year, but not without incident. In heat number 3, a car hit his in the stop section area, bending the right rear axle about 20 degrees! We had to straighten it some to get the wheel off! Well, in our haste to finish the car, and get to the race (never had a chance to run it), we forgot spare axles. We straightened it the best we could with a pair of pliers, only to have it happen again at the end of the 5th race! (we run 6 heats, one in each lane). Again, back to the pliers. The wrecks slowed the car about .02, but he still remained undefeated. Upon further inspection, the impact damged the slot, so he wants to build a new car for council. Sorry about the poor photo's. Allot of things I am not, and a photographer is one of them!! We will try to get some better shots up Monday, with someone else operating the camera! Warp Speed

Congrats there WarpSpeed, I bet your boy had a very big smile on his face holding up another trophy. You just can't get more pleasure out of that, when your kids have big smiles Do you have a name for the car?? I'm sorry your car had to go through the mishaps, that really hurts to see your cars take a hit. I'm sure you will fix it all up, and make it even faster...

Hey Warp what is the thinking behind having the car being non-symetrical? The weight to one side?

That is a great car. Too bad about the hits, but the hard work your son puts in shows, which is what it is supposed to be all about.
Congrats on the win and good luck at Council.

Hey Warp, Congrats on Jesse's win.... especially with the mishaps..
You may not have noticed this yourself, but I think the impact of those two cars may have shifted the frame of Jesse's car to the left a little bit.
