I would go with Hob E lube. If you are using that and still have the same issue then it's not the lube that's your problem.

Thanks for the replies. In reading the feedback of people who have bought the stuff, they seem happy. I'm intrigued...
The reason I say that I think lube was the problem was that our car was fast at first, then seemed to slow down as the heats progressed. The car we lost to was one we had beaten easily the night before in testing. Just seemed that our car slowed down, and the only expendable item on the car is the lubricant. But I am FAR from an expert on this!!
