do you guys put a coat of wax in instead or in addition to the gloss clear coat

I put a clear coat on and a good coat of wax.

People wax their automobiles with clear coats. Helps to get the graphite off the clear coat if you use graphite.

Always I clear coat but instead of wax I use Lemon Pledge. I read this suggestion somewhere in the forum and I can't remember by who. It removes graphite easily and leaves a shine.

Turtle wax. I rub it on, let it haze over, and then buff by hand. It removes graphite and gives the car a super slick finish so you can possibly get those few extra miliseconds

I have learned to put a coat of wax on before the wheels are installed. That way the entire car is waxed. I then put the wheels on and graphite. Then rewax, this takes most of graphite off paint. For the past few years I never thought about wax until the car was together. Just a thought
