Does anybody have a suggestion on the best way to clean an axle that has been treated with Nyoil so that I may try a different lube on there?
Or is that not a good idea?
Thanks, bone

Use Denatured Alcohol. Not only is it a good idea to clean the axles, it is a necessity. You also need to clean the wheel bores.

I use it and have had no problems. I find it to work very well on axles and wheels.
