I purchased 2 sets of Extreme Pro Wheels 1.6gram from Pinewood Extreme. I am having trouble getting them to run smooth on the axles. I have polished the axels until they look like mirrors. The wheels wobble and chatter on the axle. Is there anything I can do to get them run smoother without the chatter.

Just kiddin. Are you using lube when spinning them? Sometimes lube will make all the difference.

Dylan, were you careful not to reduce the diameter of the axle significantly when you were polishing? Also, were you testing with finger spin or on the car? Sometimes the load of the car on the wheels will reduce those symptoms. I would try polishing a few more sets of axles and use the ones that have a little snugger fit with the wheels you bought. check your hub bore for smoothness, I had a friend buy a set of the 1.6's and the hub bore was damaged severly, I am guessing it was from the mandrel on their lathe.
You can polish the bore and it will help greatly, you want to remove any high spots from the damage hub, low spots will not hurt performance.

In addition to above mentioned, if spinning quickly by hand you might be experiencing the wheel orbitting rather than spinning on axle. Under load, barring some serious issue with wheel/bore they should smooth out.

I polished the bores and that helped some, now the car has wobble as it goes down the track. I checked the size of the axles with calpers .084 is the size.
