Hello all I have a question for those who camber wheels. Our car is turning to the right , and we have the wheels cambered in at the top about 3 degrees. The right front wheel is off the ground. Is there a way to tell if it is the back wheels or the front wheel that is out of alignment? I know if the the wheels are not cambered you can tell by if the wheel moves in or out on the axle while rolling, but with camber the wheel stays out at the axle head. Any help would be appreciated. Because if we start changing the front it may make the back worse or vice versa.

Please keep in mind that I am a newly obsessed Pinedork, so all I can offer are things that I have read and in the process of trying. I noticed that you haven't received a reply yet, so maybe if nothing else, we can get this discussion going. Did you shim the axle or bend it to get your camber? Have you tried adjusting the "tow"? I'm bringing and little car car talk in here. I haven't read anyone refer to the direction of the turned wheel as tow, but if you turn the bent nail you are essentially adjusting camber and "tow" and you should be able to adjust the wheel until you find the sweet spot.

Is the car going to be a railrider or are you just trying to get it to roll straight? How much is it pulling to the right, 1" in 2,4,6,8 ft.? If you can get it to pull an inch in about 4-6 ft., you may want to leave it alone. Sometimes I spend hours trying to get mine do this. Let us know if you need more info on why it is good.
