Do you have Windows? I bought the VISIO standard graphics package for Microsoft Office and use it all the time for drawings. When you're done with the PWD car, if the wife's watching you do the design, you'll be building bookcases, next. Fair warning!
btw, if you have a school-age kid, you can buy the whole MSOffice suite in a single-user license for around $80. Killer! Note: no visio in there, but that's about $100, and it really is a good graphics package for the money. [/shill for bill]
