I know this is a tough question to answer but I am just trying to get a very rough idea.
What time difference is there using a web lube versus a dry lube? This would be on a 42' aluminum BestTrack? Are we talking 100th of a second? 50th of a second? a 20th of a second? a 10th of a second?
Roughly?
Thanks so much. This is an awsome forum!

Fastpwd, There is no definitive way to answer this question. It would vary from car to car and track to track. For example, you would need to build two identical cars in every respect and then try one with a dry and one with wet and compare results. Also, the guys on these derby sites you will find out as I have all have different opinions about the types of lube available. Some swear by the dry ones and some swear by the wet ones. I think you would need to just try some different ones yourself and make a decision plus you need to check your race rules to see what is allowed to be used. Hopes this helps HyperDrive

fastpwd,
I would use the graphite. It is fairly easy to figure out, and unless you know what you're doing, you may not even run as good using oil.
Just one persons opinion.
