The Maximum-Velocity axle puller is a EXCELLENT piece, a little pricey, but well worth it if you are building and tuning cars. We use it exclusively at Derby Worx.

I have used both - that is the a-b-c tool and the one Racer X refers to from Max V. The first one is decent but is a hook & pull- possible to damage axle & body if not done carefully. The Max V. one is a grip & twist- works great with minimal risk.
Hope that helps.

Excellent info all! Thank you very much! I'll message Randy and ask him about the puller.
Is this something that I may be able ot make myself? Anyone have a close up picture of the Max V puller?
thanks! Mik eB
