This is one of the most awesome things EVER!!! Congratulations to my good friend and Partner Jay Wiles of Warp Speed/Derby Worx Inc. The Power behind our "Pro Ultra Lite" "Pro Inertia Lite" "Pro Stock" "Pro Ultra Awana" & "Pro Pine Car Lite" wheels. Jay was just awarded NASCAR Engine Builder of the year for 2008 at the Waldorf this week during the NASCAR awards ceremony. For those of you that don't know, Jay is one of a FEW whose hands assemble the Cup Car Engines at Hendrick's Motor Sports. Jay has been the track side tuner for the 24 car during a few of the championship runs and I do know the pole winning engine in the 48 car at the opener in Daytona was his, not to mention many other winners!!! Words alone can not describe the work environment and perfection that Jay lives in, I had a full tour this year of HMS and I only can say, WOW!!!! Here is a clip from a article I found: His pit crew won $100,000 for its prowess. His engine builder, Jay Wiles, won $100,000 and gave a wonderful speech in tribute to Randy Dorton, his mentor at Hendrick Motorsports. He spoke of the want to preserve Dorton's legacy, one that continues to drive everyone in the Hendrick engine shop four years after his death. And here is the story link: sports.espn.go.com/rpm/nascar/cup/columns/story?columnist=smith_marty&id=3745604Congratulations Pal, you deserve it!!! Racer X

That is Awesome. I was one of the lucky guys that got to go on that tour of Hendricks. It was a really great experience to see all of the stuff behind the scenes. I could tell that Jay had a true passion for what he does every day. Congats Jay.

It's great to see a nice guy get the recognition he deserves.
Thanks for all you have done for Pinewood Racing and NASCAR, two of my favorite interests.
Also thanks for the favors you have done for me personally.
