If using a dry lube, is it preferable to have one large groove cut in the axle or multiple grooves? I'm using BSA nail type axles.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

If your rules allow grooved axles. Then I would feel one large groove cut would be better. but on the other hand, those who have tried and worked more with grooved axles would be better to help you.
I personally did not see much of a differance if any from grooved axles. when compared to a good set of prepped standard axles.
If you are also canting the axles or the axle slots, then grooved axles will have no impact.

Thanks Sporty. Too many cars, too little time, and perhaps not enough confidence to try canting. Definitely want to try in the future.
