I use Forstner bits. They come in a lot of sizes and remove a lot of material quick. I tried an end mill bit in my drill press and that was dangerous and looked bad. The Forstner bits work great!.

Hey Kerry, Here is the link to what we use: It turns your drill press into a cheap milling table. We bought ours at a Woodcrafter store but they do not show it on their website now so maybe no longer available thru them. It is an excellent basic vise as well although the sides could be a bit higher. We can set a hand drill or dremel tool in it well enough so it stays on our drill press bench pretty much full time. Simple enough for kids to use as well. The compound table you show looks pretty nice. It probably is more suited for what you want, but we have had no problems with this vise. www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94276Darryl www.DerbyDominator.com

We use a Rotozip with the SC05 bits. Cuts the wood like butter. Not as nice a hole as you would get with a mill, but a whole lot cheaper.
