It has been recomended to me many times, I have never heard of an unresolved complaint. Fair Pricing as the Marked does. I may be getting one soon myself for home use! WIRL Approved!

This is what we run on at WIRL and it is sweet! Derby Master has one in his shop... I just wish I had a shop! You can buy a 2 Lane and add on a 3rd or 4th as you go, now that's nice!

I bought a 34' aluminum track from BestTrack in April 2003, and all I can tell you it's a great high quality product. I just added to it in early April this year to make it like the one we race on in the WIRL. If you are thinking about buying a pinewood derby track , you should take a good look at this track from BestTrack. I feel this track has helped me be competitive this year in the WIRL.

I got one of the 35' Best Tracks in August.
It went together very well and works good.
I would recommend it.

I purchased a 35 ft Best Track last February. I love it! It only took me 20 min's Tuesday night to set it up by myself (after the initial assembly).
I am going to order another 7 ft section soon.

Question.
Could one of you who has a BestTrack like WIRL uses give us the exact measurement of the width of the center guide rails? We are getting ready to build some new cars and would like to know.
Thank you and good luck next year. Hope to have a bunch of new competitors for 2006.

Help!
Sounds like a bunch of satisfied users and had success setting the track up during the initial set-up. I need your insight to make my set-up a success.
A little background .... recently our pack purchased a 6-lane 42" Best Track. A few of us on the PWD Committee met last night to assemble the track the first time. We spent four hours together and had little delay combining the single lanes together.
Trouble raised its head when we went to join the sections. We only joined three sections and had trouble the entire way. Finally the school janitorial staff told us to pack up and head out. It was closing time.
We had a thingyens of a time getting the dowels to line up from section to section. Some lanes were perfectly butting the next and others would not meet. Others were uneven causing a nice ridge.
Our steps based on reading the instructions. Fairly poor in my opinion. -- Attached the individual lanes to create 6-lane sections. -- Laid track upside down. -- Inserted dowels one per lane as suggested by the instructions. -- Married sections together. This is our point of problems.
Just couldn't get thing aligned. Please walk me through your steps, suggested tips or strategies. I know it is a wonderful track. Looking to get past this hurdle. HELP!

I just had to post a reply to this old note. This one caused me concern about the BestTrack order I had just placed. I ordered a 3-lane with the lift/level and Champ timer. I started assembly on a Thursday after work. I took my time to ensure all ends were aligned and the sides were aligned correctly. I did the curved section first, then the start section. Friday I did a flat section and the brake section. At this point I had maybe 4 hours into assembly. Saturday I ran my first test run. The track went together with little effort. Every pin was used and it all slid together the first time with no adjustments needed at all. Anyone with any apprehension should rest easy. This is a quality product and with a small investment of time initially, will be a breeze to set up at Pinewood events. Ours is in two weeks. I can't wait!
