I too want to say Thanks to all the posters on this forum. Since reading this forum with all of your helpful ideas, tips, etc. my grandson won his pack race today.
He ran a total of (9) races, winning all of them. The track was a (32) foot aluminum track but didn't have any timers so I have no idea if our car picked up steam or lost steam as the races went on, but I was very satisfied with the way it ran. Most of the races were close until the last (5) or (6) feet and then our car would outrun the others by (1) to (1-1/2) car lengths. Our District race is next and that will be on a (42) foot aluminum track so we're excited that our car seems to run so well down the flat.
I would share a picture of the car except that they confiscate the car and we won't see it again until the day of the district race.
We've followed the advice of the "pro's" on here and for our second year of PWD racing, you guys have helped a bunch and we both appreciate you all sharing some of your speed secrets.
I am now thinking of building another car...for myself...and entering it in a few of your proxy races. Not sure which class to build a car for on my first try. I think I'll seek out a little more advice and check over your rules and then decide.
Thanks again everybody for the help and maybe we'll share the track with you guys soon...Beadlock

Congrats on the win! Build yourself a Pure Stock. They are cheap but there are still a lot of tricks you can apply.
