PineCar Speedway A 32-foot, four-lane, heavy-duty cardboard track, supported by a colorful tower. It can be assembled and disassembled in minutes. Transport it in its handy storage carton with handles. Includes a starting gate, finish line and braking section. Price: $75.00 Friends from Derby Talk told me this... "Hi PP, I saw one of these tracks in action at the Chicago Hobby & RC show last year, and personally, I would take the $75 and buy the material and build (or have built) a one or two lane test track. The sections are held together by velcro and the joints don't fit together well. Cars jumping off the lane were the order of the day. It could've been caused by the people who set it up, but it doesn't look like it would last too long. Just my 2 cents. By the way, good job at WIRL in April. " Then we heard... "Had one of those tracks. I thought the same thing, a good deal for the family. The track was imposible to keep aligned. The joints fit badly and cars with perfect clearance would rub. Cars flew off, the track was adjusted with boards, books and other means only to go out of alignment or sag again in 20 to 30 min. I have Emailed the company and no reply as of yet. From my experence I would say build something! Although it might be possible I don't think you can get this track to work right." So my Suggestion would be Save yourself the Grief, Build one or keep saving!
