After reading the wheel and axle section it seems that there is a difference of opinion on if groved axles are better than prepped axles. Im just trying to get a general consensus. THANKS!!

You know, I have used them both, this year on the same car. I started off with grooved, and I was wondering myself what the real difference is. I was using Nyoil II and had better time with smooth, prepped axles. I think maybe graphite might be better in grooved, but I haven't tested it...
