Last year I picked up a Axle Straightener by Revell at a local hobby shop. It appears to be identical to the Pro Axle Press. Can I use the Pro Rail Rider with this Revell tool?

No sir, it will not work for several reasons, but the 2 main ones are:
1. The body material is to large for the Pro Rail Rider Tool to fit around. 2. The axle straightening channels are too shallow (this is their idea of not copying a patented tool)
Let us know if we can help any other way.

I have purchased several of the Revell tools just to see how they were constructed. The tolerances, quality of build, and material selection are inferior compared to the Derby Worx Tools.
Additionally, the Revell Wheels have severe side to side wobble and are extremely slow, even when the wheels were highly prepared and modified for Pro Racing. These wheels are made in China.
I contacted Revell with my concerns about the quality of their wheels and they said that their wheels meet BSA Specifications. Their level of support was not what I expected.
In short, I own all the DERBY WORX Tools that I bought myself before coming moderator on this forum. I bought them for their quality and ease of use by a Cub Scout.
If you need wheels that cannot be modified, go to the Cub Scout Shop.
If you want to upgrade your wheels, Derby Worx Wheels have exceptional quality. I have run them at the Pro Level in several classes at PWDR with very good results. Murph Shining Light Tribology Racing
