Here are a few pictures of the cars Wooden Wonder and family built. It sounds like they are running on rails this year... WW will give the details soon.

Thanks for posting Mike. Thanks for the compliment Warp Speed, although they don't quite compare with some of the stuff you make.
If they do show up at WIRL it probably won't be until after May, that is when the council race is. When my kids first tested the cars the Wedge SE was the fastest of my son's and the Holey Wedge was the fastest of my daughters. So the next night when I got home from work my son and I went to the shed and whipped out a couple more sets of wheels. We then put new wheels on the red car, the football and goal post car, and the soccer car. The next day at test and tune the soccer car was the fastest for my daughter and the little red screamer became the fastest car we have ever built (scout legal). The alignment is not perfect on either car but district is this weekend so I don't want to mess with it. If it runs close to what it ran at pack he should qualify for council easily. Then before council we will redo the alignment on the red car. Also may redo the alignment on the soccer car just to see if we can pick up some speed. If so then we may send it to WIRL in June also. I'll let you know after this weekend how we did.

So its not too late to join 2005 WIRL competition? My son & I would like to try that, but thought we'd have to wait till next year.

Okay, Mike, We may have to take you up on that! Below is my son's district champ car, but reading the WIRL rules, I don't think it qualifies for the stock division due to the 4-1/2 inch wheel base requirement. Maybe we can put some high tech wheels on it and see if we can take last place in the modified division!
