Ok, I think I finally got this to work. Here is the car that I have been working on for my first modified. This whole animal theme started when my Kids and I were trying to come up with a racing team name. Their names all start with "J" so we decided on Flyingj'sracing team. Then I ended up developing a logo which involves a Blue Jay. We ended up building a Blue Jay car a couple of years ago and everyone loved it. I'll get pictures of it up later. Through this evolution the cheetah was born. I can't wait to send it in to see how it will run. I think I have found my creative outlet. ;D

Sorry, I am having to learn as I go on the Forum. I posted two pictures but only one shows up. I think I need to reduce the size. I'll try to attach the other one.

One word...WOW!
Great job. If it is as fast as it looks, we had better watch out!

Great concept. Pack it carefully. It looks fragile and I would hate to see it break

I used a scroll saw and a Dremel. It does concern me a little that it could break. Everything about this design was a little on the edge and I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. The tail is aluminum pipe packed with lead and carefully bent. What you can't see in the picture is there is a lead Cobra curled on the ground with a clutch of tungsten eggs. Kinda like the Cheetah ran over it unknowingly.

You have weight in the tail? ummmmm. Excuse me but, I don't think that this is what people were refering to putting the weight in the rear ;D. j/k
Great design and craftsmanship.
